I have been practicing as a psychotherapist
since 1971, first in the former Soviet Union, and than for
over twenty years in the US, as a bilingual/bicultural professional.
All my professional life I am working with children and
their families, which encounter social and emotional difficulties
related to various cultural issues. I specialize in counseling/evaluations
of preschool and school age bilingual or Russian speaking
children and their adoptive and biological parents, helping
them to adjust to new cultural, familial, and educational
demands. I am specifically interested in helping families
with attachment and re-attachment problems.
