Marina Auerbach is a bilingual psychiatrist,
practicing more than 30 years in Moscow and New York. She
received her medical degree at the Moscow Medical Sate University
in 1978 and from 1978 - 1990 worked as the Assistant Professor
in the Moscow Research Institute where in addition to the
clinical practice she received her Ph.D. in Psychopharmacology.
Dr. Auerbach confirmed her Ph.D. and Medical
degree after graduation from Beth Israel residency program.
After graduation she worked as an Attending Physician at
Bellevue Hospital and as a Director of the Day Treatment
Program at Cabrini Medical center. She successfully combined
her clinical work with the academic appointment of the Assistant
Professor of Psychiatry at NYU and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine
supervising psychiatric residents and giving course lectures
in psychopharmacology.
Her private practice focuses on the systemic
psychopharmacological and psychotherapeutical approach to
the treatment of clients and reflects her bilingual experience
and understanding of the specifics of the cultural background.
Dr. Auerbach is Board-Certified by
the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has multiple
publications and awards in Russia and USA.
