I am a Russian-English translator working
primarily with government agencies, international organizations,
law firms and financial institutions. I became involved
with the adoption process through my work in the legal field
and have been helping adopting families in the past ten
years.
I was born in Russia and have native knowledge
of the official language and culture of the former USSR.
My education includes a graduate degree in Linguistics from
Indiana University and I am accredited by the American Translators
Association in Russian-English and English-Russian, as well
as certified by the U.S. Department of State in the same
language pairs and in English / Hebrew. In fact, I have
been a full-time contract translator for the State Department
since 1991.
I can meet all of your communication needs
related to understanding Russian language documents and
delivering your message in Russian. My services include
translation of:
- Medical records
- Educational records
- Legal documents
- Developmental history
- Clinical reports
- Professional evaluations
- Background comments on videotape
I can also provide interpretation of telephone
conferences with relevant professionals in the former USSR
and verify the accuracy of already translated documents.
Translations can be certified by general certification,
affidavit or notarization.
