I am a New York State licensed, ASHA certified
bilingual Speech and Language Pathologist with extensive
service to the English/ Russian community. I have 25 years
of combined therapeutic experience in Russian and English.
For the past 10 years, I have specialized in evaluating
and treating children with language disorders and delays
who have been adopted, and/or emigrated from Russia to the
United States. I graduated from the State Pedagogical Institute
in Leningrad, Russia with degrees in Speech and Language
Pathology and Special Education. I obtained a Master of
Arts degree in Speech Pathology from Herbert Lehman College
of the City of New York. I hold the following qualifications:
Speech and Language Pathologist License from the New York
State Education Department. Certificate of Clinical Competence
of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Teacher of Speech & Hearing Handicapped Permanent Certification
from the New York State Education Department. Bilingual
Extension Certification.
