A: This diagnosis means an increased quantity of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) inside the brain that results in increased intra-cranial pressure. It may be the result of an obstruction in the normal cerebrospinal fluid circulation or the overproduction of CSF. This condition can sometimes be resolved on its own while a child grows, or it may need medical intervention. |
